Genuine Sirman IGS540C/99 right-hand lid hinge spring for CORT series panini contact grills. This spring provides the tension that holds the top grill plate open and allows controlled closure. Orientation is right-hand when viewed from the front of the grill. A common cause of a lid that won't stay open or closes too heavily when the spring fatigues or snaps.
